IMPORTANT INFORMATION

April

Dan, President:

Please contact Dan with any questions. E-mail:  dh5snow@yahoo.com

Jamie, Secretary:

At our last meeting of the season we will be voting on three items. If you would like to vote on them, please attend the meeting.

·         Vote 1 - Board Members up for reelection. Anyone wishing to run for the board, please let Dan or myself know.

·         Vote 2 - AWSC Planning Raising Dues. This will force Five Corners Snowmobile Club dues to increase. Voting on the amount we need to increase to cover.

o   To explain the AWSC dues:  We pay right now $12.50 per member/family to the AWSC when the roster/renewals are submitted. That is potentially going to go up to $17.50 per member. We should know at the meeting in April if they will be raising them and how much.

·         Vote 3 - Chissy’s will no longer be available for us to have our monthly Tuesday meetings in 2026. They are currently closed Monday and Tuesdays and have only been opening for us to have the meeting. We will need to vote on change of night that we have the meeting or change the location to keep the same night.

o   Option 1 - Chissy’s moving to Thursday nights, same time

o   Option 2 - Continue with Tuesdays but move the location to 5 Corners. If we choose option 2, we will need to speak to Pat but will not until club agrees on moving location.

Bob, Trail Master:

A sincere thank you to everyone who marked, brushed, and leveled trails this year. Although they didn't get much use again, they were well prepared and in great shape. They can be removed anytime after March 31st. Let me know hours. rboss8@aol.com

Also, we should have approximately $500.00 in unused funding available from the county if you know of anything the club needs.

**NOTE:  Also a reminder if you mark trail or volunteer with the club in other ways, you need to be a current member for insurance purposes.

Wisconsin Trail Pass

Don't forget you need a current membership with the AWSC to get the trail pass for $10. Get them early to not experience any delays when the snow comes and the trails open.
